Water Testing
*Add $35 to all water tests when not choosing a home inspection.
Standard Mortgage – $165 w/ inspection*. This is the most common water test and is used for most conventional home mortgages. It tests for Bacteria (Total Coliform, E. Coli) and Nitrates.
FHA/USDA Mortgage – $215 w/ inspection*. This is a moderate group of tests performed to satisfy FHA lender requirements. It includes Total Coliform Bacteria, E.Coli Bacteria, Lead, Nitrates and Nitrites.
VA Mortgage – $235 w/ inspection*. This is a larger group of tests performed to satisfy VA lender requirements. It includes Total Coli-form Bacteria, E.Coli Bacteria, Lead, Nitrates, Nitrites, Iron, and pH.
Complete Home – $345 w/ inspection*. This is a broad parameter test that includes 11 of the most requested items. Bacteria (Total Coli-form, E. Coli), Nitrate, Nitrite, Total Dissolved Solids, Hardness, Iron, pH, Manganese, Alkalinity, and Lead.
Radon or UrANIUM in water – $185 w/inspection* – a lab test for the PiC/L levels of radon in well water.
Well Flow Test – $175 w/ inspection*. Many homes rely on a well for its primary water supply. How much water a well produces can be as important as the quality of the water. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) requires a flow rate of 3 to 5 gallons per minute for older wells and a rate of 5 gallons per minute for new wells to pass inspection. Our flow test can provide assurance that your well will meet that standard.
