Bill Haughery – Inspector
Bill began his career as a journeyman cabinetmaker, learning to craft interior and exterior millwork in Washington, DC. This early experience gave him an eye for detail and an appreciation for wood, which is the primary building material in most homes. Bill went on to own and operate his own building and remodeling company in Lancaster County. His years in the trade have helped him to understand not only what goes into building a quality home, but what can go wrong as well. Often, he would begin a project by disassembling the defective portion of the home before putting it back together properly. Bill recently retired from pastoral ministry where he helped in the founding of a local church in Millersville.
Bill desires to help you understand your home and to provide you with an honest, accurate inspection report.
Matthew Haughery – Inspector
Matthew’s exposure to the residential trades started with a range of jobs in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and house framing. His passion for home construction continued as he purchased and remodeled several homes over the years. Graduating from Millersville University with a degree in Industrial Technology, he began a 20 year career as an engineer with a local electrical power cable manufacturing company. A combination of his professional vocation and ongoing involvement in residential trades has sharpened his skill of observation and knowledge. He now joins his father in bringing this experience into the family owned home inspecting business.

Abby Wenger – Secretary
Abby is the Secretary for Precise Inspecting. She recently graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2022 with a degree in education. She has worked in admissions and adult education offices throughout her college career. These experiences have taught her different relational, organizational, and computer skills. When Abby is not working you can find her singing/playing the piano, working on a puzzle, reading, or spending time with family.
As an administrator, Abby is dedicated to helping you get the information you need in a helpful, efficient, and timely manner.
